My background in Translation
I studied Translation at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne and have been working as a freelance translator and editor for over 15 years now. Many of my translations have been published in books and magazines, and I have a wide range of experience with various text types, such as marketing and medical texts. My approach is very detail-oriented and I love creating appealing texts for my clients that help them reach their audience and business goals.
My background in photography
Photograpy has been a passion of mine since my twenties. Some years ago, I turned towards a more artistic approach to it, when I started to experiment with intentional camera movement and multiple exposures to translate my ideas and impressions into more abstract images. I love trying out new techniques and using blur as a stylistic means. I have shown my work in several group exhibitions in the UK and Germany. My images are above all about the beauty and energies of places and nature and about my connection with these places.
Some Things I love
I live in the countryside near Cologne in Germany and can often be found in the company of dogs, horses and trees. I love the sea, meditation and a mindful approach to life, fine coffee, beautiful gardens, Tiny Houses and I’m interested in architecture, interior design and the arts.
